Blog Elevated conference is fast approaching and we can’t wait for you to join us in Houston in September!
But we realize that many of you are just getting your blog business off the ground. You need to learn the information at Blog Elevated, you want to take your blog to the next level, but real life is getting in the way.
We want to help you. We are offering a complimentary full conference pass to TWO BLOGGERS who really want to come but just can’t make the numbers work.
One of the cornerstones of Blog Elevated is sharing, encouraging, and learning from others. Our motto is Be Inspired, Be Professional, Be You, so to apply for the Be a Better Blogger Scholarship, we want you to write a post on your blog sharing how you are inspired, becoming more professional, or just how you have grown and changed. We also want you to share with your readers and across your social media community.
Criteria:
1) Write one post, 500 word minimum, choosing ONE of the following:
- Be Inspired- include three things that inspire you to blog, and one thing you want to learn at Blog Elevated.
- Be Professional – include three things that have made you up your game in blogging or improve your online presence, and one thing you want to learn at Blog Elevated
- Be You- include three things you’ve learned from blogging, and one thing you want to learn at Blog Elevated.
Include at least one link to http://blogelevated.com or http://blogelevated.com/tickets.
2) Tweet your post using the #BlogElevated hashtag at least two times
3) Amplify your post on Facebook at least one time, tag #BlogElevated or the BlogElevated Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/BlogElevated (or both!)
4) Promote your post on one other social media channel at least one time (Instagram, Google +, Tumblr, Pinterest, YouTube- you choose!) Use the hashtag where appropriate.
All criteria must be completed before applying.
How to Apply:
Once you have posted and shared on social media, you may apply by entering the information on Be a Better Blogger Application. Submissions must be received by 11:59pm on August 15, 2013 to be considered for this scholarship. One applicant will be announced on August 19, 2013. We will contact you via email. Please make sure you enter a valid email address!
Additional Information:
Scholarship applicant will have three (3) days from the date they are notified to respond and claim their conference pass. If the applicant is unable to attend, they are able to gift the ticket to another blogger with notice written to the conference organizers. If the applicant is unable to gift the ticket to another blogger, a new applicant will be chosen and the original applicant forfeits the ticket with no other prizes being awarded. The scholarship ticket may not be sold or exchanged for cash. This scholarship includes a full Conference Pass to Blog Elevated Conference 2013 in Houston, TX. Hotel and travel are not provided.
